Ameer Jackson gave us an interview about him and his career

Ameer Jackson talked exclusively to us for himself,his career and his future goals.The 26-year old american guard re-new his contract with Al Khor SC from Quatar for one more season and last season he was the first scorer in the League with 24.1 points.

Let's see what he told to us about him and his career.

-How old were you when you started play basketball and how the adventure to Europe took place?If I am right you started your career in Romania.

Since i was a kid i remembered me with a ball.Honestly i got an old picture at the age of 2-3 with my cousin and i have a little ball on my hand.Oh,yes i started pro career in Europe,i played in Romania at Aurel Vlaicu Bucuresti.

-You are going to play for second straight season in Al Khor.What goals do you have and how did you decide to stay there?

I want to win the cups and the regular season as well,with a talented player like Quintrell (Thomas) and i know we can get it done.It was like there was no second thought between me and the team because i gave all my everything for them and they know that i am a great person inside and outside of the court.

-Who is your favourite basketball player and best teammate you ever had?

My favourite one is Russell Westbrook.Now about my teammates it is between Eric Eaves,Marcus Johnson and Codi Miller McIntyre.I played two years with Eaves at Dodge City,with Marcus Johnson in senior team high school and with Codi when we were kids.

-What are the aspects you want to improve in your game?

This offseason i have been working on pace and on my skills and to be positioned myself to get open for a bucket or get my teammates open.

-Finally Ameer,what is the top point you want to come and play in your career?

NBA for sure but for now i just want to make a great resume overseas and the next step when the right time comes.
